Please tell me you'll stay.
I have a limit for patience.
And its running thin.
My time is short.
So I'll treasure it.
The courage I need.
Is the courage to speak.
To stare right into your mesmerising eyes, and speak.
Just that, its enough.
I will if you ask me to.
Your wish is my command.
Every movement you make.
I'll be watching silently.
Secretly wishing you would just notice me there.
How much do I love you?
As they would ask.
I don't know.
I really don't.
It won't be a happy ending.
I know it.
But I hope it'll stay that way, until I forget...
about us.
This is a test from me for you.
I promise I'll forget everything if you fail.
We shall never speak of anything about it again.
It ends when the clock strikes twelve.

The Bridge to reality.
Like a pair of perfectly synchronised couples dancing,
I took a step forward with you moving back.
Our feet never met.
Just to show the perfection in this masterpiece.
I took the trouble to go through all of this just to show you I care.
I tripped. We fell.
Suddenly I felt both of us are miles apart.
I'm not that piece of puzzle after all.
Even if I'm living in self denial.
I feel that you have the same perception.
Screaming out from deep within,
I searched for an answer.
I was enlightened.
Its not complicated,
Neither is it simple.
I never thought you could break me.
But now I'm falling apart.
And I'm on the verge of giving up.
I've got my head in the cloud.
It fogged up my vision.
After the thunderstorm,
I saw a rainbow.

Escape
He ran as fast as lighting, hoping that his pursuers will not be fast enough to catch him. His miniature eyes darted around the wilderness that he was trapped in. Enveloped in a pungent concoction of sweat, dirt and his own excretions, he had nothing in his mind except to escape.
He could hear the pursuers shooting into the air. The crisp, yet terrifying sound of the bullet rang in his ears. It sent chills down his spine. He curled up into a ball and held tight, breaking out in quiet sobs. He prayed to God to let him live. He was too exhausted to carry out his promise. ‘After this… Just one more rest.’ He thought to himself.
He woke up at dawn with numerous earthworms surrounding him. He brushed them off plainly and peeked through the spaces between the Canatilla shrubs. He detected no signs of movement except the pair of chipmunks scampering about with their bushy tails swinging behind them making the surrounding leaves rustle. The heavy steel chains that bounded his legs were weighing down on him like how his heart sank like a stone.
He thought of his older brother, Januar, who sacrificed himself for his escape. He remembered his promise: to run for his freedom. “Its better if one of us gets to live and to see the world again rather than being in living hell.” He used to say.
Then, the scene came back to him. It was at the Jania mining site. Both brothers were working at the corner of the mine where the security was slack. Januar decided that that was the day in which they will attempt to escape. As planned, he will pretend that he was sick and cause a commotion with their comrades at a corner to attract the attention of the guards. Later on, his younger brother will flee by the opposite route from the camp and finally escape.
He knows well that after this ordeal, his brother would have to go through severe punishments and even death depending on the mood of the Boss. He pleaded to God for giving his selfless brother another chance at life.
He cautiously stood up, still afraid that they might come out of the blue all of a sudden. His body was rigid as his paranoia got the better of him. The endless days of having to live in fear with only plans to escape occupied him. Elaborate plans were thought out and sorted. Fantasies became reality for few, and he was one of them. ‘So far, so good.’ He reassured himself.
He took out his current most prized possession -a compass as small as a bottle cap. This will be the tool for his escape, an advantage that he will have compared to the rest of his comrades who tried before him and were re-captured.
He waited for it. Once the needle stopped and pointed to the north, Omak took off, just like a phoenix after rising from its ashes.

To what extent do you think, are teachers responsible for the behaviour and actions of their students?
In my view, teachers are seen to be role models as well as change agents for students. Thus, teachers are responsible for molding and shaping the behavior and actions of their students. In a community, both the teacher and student are in close association, each one sharing the other's ideas, beliefs and practices, customs and traditions, knowledge and feelings.
This will allow the teacher to access and cater to the different teaching methods that they will use for different groups of students. This is reasonably helpful to the students as they will now have a role model for their every aspect of life.
Children learn by imitating. Therefore, it is essential that teachers teaching a group of younglings should pay close attention to their behavior and character development and correct them whenever needed. The teacher's lifestyle also reflects a pattern the students absorb and internalize consciously and unconsciously in their association with one another. For example, a child in kindergarten, when instructed to do something by his or her parent which does not match the teacher's ways would come back with "This is not what the teacher said."
In an assessment of the common patterns of population, it is the teacher who produces the future professionals. It is also observed that one can trace some marks of the teacher's behavioral patterns, training skills, concepts, beliefs and practices among the students that were taught by them. Thus, the kind of professionals manifest both in their private and occupational lifestyles some traits that their teachers have handed down to them.
Teachers teaching students of an older age should be more concerned with their discipline. Those who need the most attention would be the defiant, rowdy, eccentric, quiet, apathetic and the introverts. Social problems are most common among teenagers. This is also the hardest problem to solve as it is difficult for the teacher to understand the student due to the difference in their status. Students also tend to avoid teachers because of the constant probing of their personal life which the student will find unacceptable after a period of time.
Teachers should also be concerned about the students’ after school activities to a certain extent. For example, being concerned if they turn up for their various co-curriculum activities (CCA) as teachers are supposed to be responsible for the student’s CCA points with attendance being a majority of it.
Therefore, teachers should learn to gauge and respond to the limitations of being responsible for their students’ behavior and actions. Some of which include time, financial ability, students character and those in higher positions or parents forbidding them to intervene as they think that they do not have the qualifications to do so.
In conclusion, I think that the teachers’ responsibility of caring for their students should be based on the kind of students they are dealing with along with the kind of education that they are giving to them.
